4 Special Education by the Numbers
K-12 Sp. Ed. enrollment decreases from * Resource Rm. – decrease by 78. Behavior Support – decrease by 14. Life Skills Classroom – decrease by 8. *Response to Intervention data based decision making. *Excellent Early Childhood Program 0-5 Sp. Ed. increase by 36. Communication Disabled Students increase by 16.

5 Special Education Growth
Birth – 3 Program: 33 infants requiring special services. 3 – 5 Program: 88 students requiring specially designed instruction. Increase in services provided by Speech and Language Pathologists, Teachers, Para-professionals, School Psychologists, Occupational/Physical Therapists and contracted services.

#1 – Budget Adequate Staff – recruitment and retention. Adequate Facilities – with room to grow. Adequate Teaching materials; equipment. Adequate Technology. Adequate Professional Development.
