Solution
End-to-end modernization of the client's mainframe system to a modern MS platform
Fujitsu used automated tools and process to convert 1.8 Million lines of code, 390 screens and 237 batch jobs into a modern application environment.
This was done efficiently and at a very effective cost point - creating tremendous value
Challenge
Mission critical applications running on outdated mainframe technologies
Over 9 million transactions a year
Costs associated with operating this environment were growing rapidly
Making changes was becoming increasingly risky and expensive
Limitations to deploy digital solutions
Modernization of the client's mainframe system reduced annual operating cost by $15 million
