1 How to Enroll using CampusNet
Student Guide

2 CampusNet Registration
With Multi-term registration, degree seeking students can register for an entire academic year. With Course Waitlist, students can place themselves in line for the opportunity to enroll in a closed course.

3 Accessing CampusNet CampusNet is accessed from the myCSU link on the CSU website (

4 Signing on to CampusNet
To log into CampusNet, simply use your 7-digit CSUID number and password.

5 Navigating CampusNet CampusNet defaults to your Personal Tab. From the Personal Tab, you can see basic information , including which Academic Years you are eligible to enroll in and checking any holds on your account.

6 Navigating CampusNet To enroll, you will navigate to the Student Tab, then select the Add/Drop link. Selecting the magnifying glass will expand the Academic Year to show you which semesters you are eligible to enroll in. Select the appropriate semester you wish to enroll in.

7 Navigating CampusNet Acknowledge the Financial Obligation.

8 Enrolling Select one of the search criteria: Enter Class Number, Search by Subject and Catalog Number or General Search.

9 Enrolling This example is using Search by Subject and Catalog Number. Select the Subject (to search for all courses in the subject do not enter a Catalog Nbr). Click Continue. To view more information including course descriptions and pre-requisites, select the magnifying glass. To enroll select the blue plus sign.

10 Enrolling After selecting the course, you will see an Enroll Now button appear unless the course is closed. If the course is closed, a Join Class Waitlist button will appear. If you only see a “Continue” button select it until you see either the Enroll Now or Join Class Waitlist options (the maximum number of credit hours you can waitlist is 8 hours).

11 Joining a Waitlist You will see a success message and a verification of the address to which your notification to enroll will be sent.

12 Waitlist Has Reached Capacity If a waitlist has reached capacity you will get the following message:

13 The Result The example below shows a student enrolled in a course and also on a waitlist. Your position on the waitlist is shown here:

14 CampusNet Waitlist Notification Should you get the opportunity to enroll, you will receive a notification in CampusNet: Personal Tab Screen

16 Email Notification Additionally, you will also receive an email notification:

17 Enrolling From Waitlist Navigate to the Student Tab and select the Add/Drop option. You will see an enroll option next to your waitlisted course. Select the blue plus (+) to Enroll. Remember if you need to adjust your schedule to add the waitlist course, you will need to do so prior to selecting the enroll now option.

18 Enrolling from Waitlists Select Enroll Now or Continue and then Enroll Now.

You will then see a success message.

If you receive any of the following errors you will need to adjust your schedule and then proceed to add the waitlisted course: Max Credit hour reached – students are only permitted to take up to 18 credits – drop another course to add the waitlist course. Time Conflict – drop the course that meets at the same time as the waitlisted course. Multiple enrollment not allowed– you already have enrolled for another section of the same class; you will need to first drop the other section from your schedule.

21 Dropping from Waitlist If at any time you wish to drop yourself from the waitlist, navigate to the Student Tab and select the Add/Drop option. Select the red minus sign (-) to Drop the waitlisted course.
