1. What ever it takes… …Love beyond Reason

2. We were Created to be Like Jesus
“For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.” (Eph. 1:4)
We are of value and worth to God

3. We were created to be a Holy Body
“In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.” (Eph. 2:21)
We are the holy body of Christ united.

4. We were created to have a holy… ..Mind-set of Pure Love
“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith…so you would know his love.” (Eph. 3:16-21)
God provides the means for us to love like him!

5. “Let this Spirit change your way of thinking.” (Eph. 4:23 -MGS)
“You were taught with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” (Eph.4:22-24)

6. This is What Needs to Happen:
We must let go of old ways of thinking and think like Jesus.
“Everything…connected with that old way of life has to go It’s rotten through and through. Get rid of it!” (Eph. 4:22)

7. The Key: Rethink your Thinking
Change to a new way of thinking
”to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds;” –v.22-23
Get rid of toxic thoughts and words
Speak life-giving words to OTHERS every chance you get.

8. This is What needs to happen:
2. We need to be willing to pay the cost and put-on the holy love habits of Jesus.
“put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness” (Eph. 4:24)
Get rid of toxic attitudes and actions
Speak life-giving words to yourself and to your circumstances: attitude change = right actions

9. Our Response
“Be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise, but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads ot debauchery. Instead be filled with the Spirit.” Ephesians 5:15-18
