Almighty God, your Son Jesus Christ has promised that you will hear us when we ask in faith:

10. We claim the victory, through our faith in our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ; for this land, for your church, for all people.

13. Send out the light and truth of your gospel and bring people everywhere to know and love you. Enable those who minister among us to commend your truth by their example and teaching.

20. We pray for the people of this country, our leaders and our country in crisis

21. Sovereign God, Guide with your wisdom and power the leaders of this nation, so that everyone may live in peace and mutual trust, sharing with justice the resources of the earth.

22. Give the people of this land a spirit of unselfishness, compassion, and fairness in public and private life. Lord, in your mercy,
hear our prayer.

23. Give wisdom to those in authority
Give wisdom to those in authority. We pray for our country, our President, the government, our local government; the police and those who administer our laws;

24. all who have responsibility; all men and women in their daily work; give to them a desire for righteousness and peace, with the will to work together in trust, to seek the common good.
