1 School Wide SIP Goal Student achievement on the Mathematics section of the ISTEP+ Assessment will increase on Spring 2014 ISTEP+, grades 6-8, from an average of 58% to 68%, and in the Free/Reduced Lunch Breakout group from 50% to 64%.

2 SMART Goal—Aligned with School Goal
The number of 8th grade proficient students in the tiers 4 & 5 on (Solving linear equations) will move from 43% to 70% by February 25th , as measured by the February Acuity. administered the week of February 21st.

3 School Based YEAR long SMART goal
The # of algebra students below basic will DECREASE from 33—12 as measured by the Iowa Core assessment administered on or around April 15th 2015, focusing on real world applications of problem solving.

4 IPLT SMART Goal—Aligned to School Goal
Increase # of 6th Grade students proficient from 37 to 70 in identifying special angles and use of parallel lines and their transversals by November 1st as measured by teacher created grade level common formative assessment administered October 24th and 25th

5 IPLT team SMART Goal The # of proficient 8th grade students in writing process will move from 51 to 122 by November 1st , as measured by teacher created grade level common formative assessment administered October 24th or 25th, focusing on ORGANIZATION

6 IPLT team SMART Goal The # of proficient English II students in reading comprehension will move from 51 to 122 by September 7th, as measured by teacher created grade level common formative assessment administered August 30th or 31st. focusing on narrative text analysis.

7 SMART-ER Team Goal The # of 4th Grade students moving to proficient on text analysis will increase from (ALL 64 to 84 / Special education 14—23) by February 28th, as measured by grade level common assessment, administered on February 21st.. Team will revaluate GOAL on February 23rd. (Additional time will be appropriated during RTI if needed March 1-5)

8 The percentage of Grade 6 students demonstrating mastery or above above in Narrative Writing will increase from 38% to 88% by October 30 (in 2 weeks) as measured by a team-created common formative post-assessment administered to students on October 23rd.

9 IPLT team SMART Goal The # of proficient 8th grade science students in CAUSE/EFFECT (Inner Planets) will move from 51 to 122 by April 1st , as measured by teacher created grade level common formative assessment administered March 24th and 25th.

10 IPLT team SMART Goal The # of proficient 11th grade GOVERNMENT students in CAUSE/EFFECT (Related to the 18th Amendment) will move from 51 to 122 by November 1st , as measured by teacher created grade level common formative assessment administered October 24th and 25th. focusing on Real world applications of Current Events

11 MIDDLE SCHOOL MUSIC SMART Goal
The proficient scoring of the 8th grade choir rehearsal December performance the will move from 7.1 to 9.0 by November 18th, as measured by the Common rubric collaboratively scored assessment administered the week of November 15th FOCUSING Pitch and intonation (3 teachers will score the group for 15 minutes –2 will need coverage)

12 IPLT team SMART Goal The # of EXCEEDS 11th grade CHEMISTRY students in OVERALL LAB REPORT writing will INCREASE from 21 to 37 by November 1st , as measured by teacher created grade level common formative assessment administered October 24th or 25th. focusing on ORGANIZATION—And SPECIFIC variable isolation

13 Foreign Language SMART Goal
The # of proficient 9th grade Spanish 1 students in fluency writing will INCREASE from 29 to 77 by November 1st , as measured by teacher created grade level common formative assessment administered October 24th or 25th. focusing on Peer practice and SPECIFIC feedback
