8 The City of Bath Why is Bath called Bath?
The only hot springs in the UK People have been visiting Bath for ‘health’ and tourism for 2000 years It is a World Heritage City and a top 5 tourist destination in the UK It is a major historical and cultural centre The resident population is small (about 90,000 people) but students and tourists make it very lively

10 University of Bath Bath & Our Campus
We have one campus. It is on the top of a hill about minutes by bus from the city centre. You can walk to the city centre in about 35 minutes. There is a regular student bus service every minutes (6 minutes at peak times) from early in the morning until late at night Our campus is one of the safest in the UK and has been recognised with a national police security award. Amongst its facilities the campus boasts a 24/7 library and a new £5.5 million Student Centre.
