Addition 54 then subtraction. 80 = 26

14. Year 2 Expected Standard
Children need to be able to:
Partition two-digit numbers into different combinations of tens and ones. E.g 23 = 2 tens and 3 ones OR 1 ten and 13 ones.
Add 2 two-digit numbers within 100 e.g Using concrete apparatus or pictorial representations.
Estimate to check that their answers are reasonable.
Subtract mentally a two-digit number from another two digit number e.g. 73 – 33
Recall and use multiplication and division facts.
Use inverse relationships between addition and subtraction.
Convert , times by Division then subtraction
