3 Initial idea The idea developed from a relationship built between Carrie and Chris through their work with FAPPO (Florida Association of Public Purchasing Officers) Both were President-elect of their respective chapters Discussion ensued with Jennifer Steffan, Chapter Relations Manager, regarding other collaborative efforts Why enter into a “sister chapter relationship”? Would there be cross-over of membership? Our goal really isn’t to “merge” the chapters or completely share membership.  The thought behind it is more of collaboration amongst chapters to allow for shared resources for speakers, reciprocating reverse trade show participation among agencies and assisting in meeting minimum requirements for educational offerings.  We really have no interest in combining the chapters, we just want to work smart and collaborate as much as possible.  If we are able to form some sort of “sister chapter”, it would be just for the purposes of working together to accomplish things beneficial to both chapters.  What would the benefits be? Carrie
