6. Wisdom Shouts Proverbs 1:8-19
Faithful parents plead with their son to not neglect what he has been taught
The father gives serious warning to his son about the evil influences that could lead him astray

Wisdom shouts to warn against the high price that will be paid by those who neglect her

8. Wisdom Shouts Proverbs 1:21-23
Wisdom openly and publically warns the naive, the scoffer and the fool
The naive are both simple (ignorant), gullible, and oblivious to danger - Proverbs 14:15; 22:3

Scoffers are arrogant, insolent and a source of contention (Prov. 18:2; 21:4; 22:10)
Fools are dull & obstinate in their proclivity to make wrong choices mocking at sin & doing wrong

but they despise wisdom & are left on their own
There is hope as long as wisdom shouts (Isaiah 55:6), but the opportunity will pass away

Prov. 8: Wisdom offers hope & blessing to the naive & fools, but not to scoffers
Wisdom speaks truth openly and clearly and should be valued above all desirable things

Prov. 8:13 - Wisdom hates what is contrary to godliness.
