Worthy of glory, honor, thanks and power
Sits on His throne
Lives forever and ever
Worshiped by the 4 living creatures and 24 elders
24 elders cast their crowns before His throne
Created all things (including the 4 LC and 24 elders)
All things existed and were created because of His will

4. Revelation 5 God held a book sealed with 7 seals
John saw strong angel, “Who is worthy…?”
John wept: no one found worthy
Elder told John to stop weeping
Lamb: Jesus, Lion of Judah, Root of David had overcome
4 Living Creatures and 24 elders fall down and worship
Elders: Hold a harp and a golden bowl of incense

5. Lamb in Revelation 5 Lion that is from the tribe of Judah
Root of David
Overcome so as to open the book and its seals
Between the throne and the 24 elders
Standing, as if slain
Has 7 horns, 7 eyes, 7 Spirits of God
Came and took the book from the Father
4 Living Creatures/24 Elders sing new song
Worthy to take the book
Worthy to break its seals
Was slain (time phrase)

6. Lamb in Revelation 5 Purchased men for the Father with His blood
Made those men to be a kingdom and priests
Those men will reign upon the earth
4 Living Creatures, 24 elders, myriads and myriads, thousands upon thousands worship
Worthy to receive: Power, riches, wisdom, might, honor, glory, blessing and dominion forever and ever
Every created thing in: heaven, on earth, under the earth, on the sea, ALL things: worship the Lamb and the Father

7. Revelation 6 The Lamb broke open 1st – 6th seals
Seal #5 sounds like a message to the martyred saints IN HEAVEN
Seals 1-4 and 6 take place on earth
Two groups of people are mentioned: The souls of those killed for the Word and for their testimony which they maintained AND the men who try to hide from God’s wrath
Things which will take place after these things:
The Almighty sits on His throne
Worthy Lamb breaks the seals

8. Revelation 7
God’s bondservants are sealed BEFORE the four angels are released
Bondservants include the 144,000
Multitude from every nation: before the throne
“Those who are clothed in white robes, who are they and where have they come from?”

9. Answer to verse 13 They are before the throne of God
Serve Him day and night in His temple
God will spread His tabernacle over them
They will hunger and thirst no more
Sun will not beat down on them anymore
No more heat
Lamb will be their Shepherd
Guided to springs of the water of life by the Shepherd
God will wipe every tear from their eyes

10. Revelation 8 Lamb breaks open the 7th seal
An angel adds incense to the saints’ prayers
1st – 4th trumpet
John sees an eagle flying midheaven

7 stars are the angels of the 7 churches
7 angels prepared themselves to sound
“Midheaven”: mesouranema – middle of heaven, the zenith, or the midst of the heavens
“Prepared”: hetoimazo – get ready, make arrangements

11. Revelation 9 Angel sounds the 5th trumpet
A star falls from heaven: Star = angel (1:20)
Locusts come out
Locusts are the First Woe
Angel sounds the 6th trumpet
1/3 of mankind killed by fire, smoke and brimstone from the horses’ mouths
Second Woe
Horsemen and angels are connected

12. Revelation 9 2/3 of mankind left alive
Rev. 6: Kings of the earth, Great men, Commanders, Rich, Strong, Slave and Free
Hide themselves “Fall on us….”
Great Day of Wrath has come
They don’t repent
Demon worshipers, idolaters, murderers, sorcerers, immoral and thieves

13. Revelation 10 Another strong angel (1st is in 5:2)
Little book in his hand
John told NOT to write what the peals say
“No more delay”
Mystery of God is finished/fulfilled
John told to eat the book
Book is sweet at first, then bitter
Prophecy again
