What’s been happening in Haiti? Friday 15 January 2010 ShelterBox team arrive in Haiti ShelterBoxes are being frantically packed to go to Haiti. ShelterBox Response Team land in Port au Prince, Haiti.

12 The first ShelterBoxes arrive in Haiti
Tuesday 19 January 2010 The first ShelterBoxes arrive in Haiti The first ShelterBoxes have arrived in Port au Prince and hundreds more are due to arrive later today. The team say twelve of these boxes will be used to build an emergency field hospital at the airport.

Friday 22 January 2010 Camps set up as aid begins to flow Four year-old Carlos who had an operation on his leg, recovering in a ShelterBox tent. He is using one of the children’s packs sent in the boxes.

Wednesday 17th February 2010 More than 8,000 boxes sent, to date Ulrique Idal and her newborn baby, Edwige. Their home is now a ShelterBox tent

Monday 22nd February 2010 Tents vital before rains come ShelterBox Response Team (SRT) member Jane Nash says: “The rains are going to be really hard...a tent can be a life saving difference... tents are the number one priority.” As of ShelterBox has sent more than 8,000 ShelterBoxes to Haiti.

There are an estimated 1.5 Million people without homes. Hundreds and hundreds of new boxes are going to be needed. Please help Rotary to buy more ShelterBoxes. Thank you
