Initiate the project (1 step)
Manage the Project (3 steps)
Step 1: Submit the Tasks
Step 2: Upload the files
Step 3: Request for Phase Change

4. Login to the site
How to Login?

5. Click on Project Administration

6. Select Open New project

7. Fill in the details in the fields and “Submit”

8. Project Initiated
Project will be waiting for MBB approval.
Once MBB approves it, GB may return to the tool for managing his/her project.

9. Managing Project (GB)
In Project Administration, select “My Projects”

10. Select Project to Manage (GB)

11. Select “Tasks”

12. Click “Submit Project Charter”

13. Select the Black Belt for the project from the drop down menu

14. Complete the Project Charter and “Submit”

15. Goto “File Manager” and select “Submit Check list”

16. Upload the documents in the Activities Check list as per the template available

17. Goto “Change Phase” and Request for phase change by clicking “Click here for Phase Change Request”

18. Select “Submit” for phase change request

19. Request sent to Black Belt
The Black Belt comes into the picture only when the GB has added the project charter.
Once the Black Belt approves the phase, the request will be forwarded for approval of MBB depending on which phase it is in.
For iSTRIVE
MBB approval is not required for phases Track, Improve & Validate.
For DMADV & DMAIC
MBB approval is not required for Measure phase only.

20. BB Approves
If BB has approved the phase you may see the phase status showing as pending with MBB depending on which phase it is.
You may remind the MBB again by clicking on the reminder option.

21. Black Belt
For BB
Manage the project (3 steps)
Step 1: View the Submitted Tasks
Step 2: View the Uploaded Files
Step 3: Approve/Reject Phase Change Request.

22. Managing Project (BB)
In Project administration select “Phase change request”

23. Select the Project

24. Review the “Project Charter” in “Tasks” and other files in “File Manger” and then in “Change Phase” approve or reject the phase accordingly

25. Master Black Belt
For MBB
Approve/Reject Project (1 Step)
Manage the project (3 steps)
Step 1: View the Submitted Tasks
Step 2: View the Uploaded Files
Step 3: Approve/Reject Phase Change Request.

26. Approve/Reject New Project requests (MBB)
In Project Administration, Select “ Approve/Disapprove Project”

27. Select the Project

28. Review the Project details and Approve or reject accordingly

29. Managing Project – Phase Change Request (MBB)
In Project administration select “Phase change request”

30. Select the Project

31. Review the “Project Charter” in “Tasks” and other files in “File Manger” and then in “Change Phase” approve or reject the phase accordingly
