2. Current rules
DN requests Interruption offers, based on typical 3 year lead time to re-inforce its Network if interruption offers are not economic.
UNC currently precludes DNs seeking Interruption offers in Annual Interruption window where lead time for re-inforcement is less than 3 years

3. Proposed change to UNC to allow this option

In each Gas Year (Y) a DN Operator shall invite Interruption Offers by Users in respect of each of Gas Years Y+4 to Y+8 inclusive (each a separate Interruptible period) by an annual Interruption Invitation….
Proposed UNC text in Mod to be raised by NGN
In each Gas Year (Y) a DN Operator shall invite Interruption Offers by Users in respect of each of Gas Years Y+4 to Y+8 inclusive, and may invite Interruption Offers in respect of Gas Years Y+1 to Y+3 inclusive (each a separate Interruptible period) by an annual Interruption Invitation….
