11 RC Since January 2013 new structure of IBS implemented
RC chair takes part in Executive Board meetings (ex-officio) A new Nominating committee was formed By June 30th the regions should have nominated new RC members (it took until Feb. 2014) Since James Carpenter, member of Executive Board, became Secretary/Treasurer – replaced by RC member Hendriek Boshuizen until the next election Collecting nominations for the Awards Thanks for the participation in the ballot

12 Role of RC shall be responsible for bringing various issues to the attention of the Executive Board for consideration and action. Members of the Representative Council also serve as chairs and possibly members of the standing committees. The Nominating Committee formed from the Representative Council shall identify potential nominees to serve as officers of the Society and to serve as directors representing the five specified continental areas of the Society. Collecting nominees for awards and approving them
