2. WellComm Language Screen
To help your child be ready for school, Manchester City Council is offering the WellComm screen at your local Children’s Centre.
It is a play based screen that gives you the opportunity to learn more about your child's communication.
For more information or advice about your child’s speech and language please speak to an outreach worker.
The wellcomm language screenings will be carried out regularly in the stay, play and learn sessions, ask an outreach worker for more details.

The Outreach Workers work in the centre and in the community to help parents with young children under five to know about and access available services.
They can also help with 2 year funding, debt management, benefits issues, food bank,
school admissions etc.
