2. The fire began on the 2 of September 1666.
The fire started at pudding lane in Thomas Faminer’s bakery.

3. The houses were made of wood and the roads narrow so the fire spread easily.

4. They used leather buckets and squirts to try and put the fire out

5. The fire went on for 4 days
The fire went on for 4 days. We know about the fire because Samuel Pepys wrote a Diary . He buried a slice of cheese because it was very valuable.

6. After the great fire of London they built houses out of bricks and built them further away from each other.
