Today we are a network of 32 children’s villages Where 6,600 children are growing up We also reach out to 24,000 children through our family strengthening program

5 Program Interventions
Within programs concrete responses are made through three types of Interventions Direct Essential Services - which are made available to fulfil the child’s survival, development, protection and participation rights Capacity building –to support care givers, families, communities and other duty bearers to develop knowledge, skills, resources, systems and structures to protect and care for children Advocacy- actions aim to improve the overall framework conditions for the children of our target group by bringing about changes in policies and programs that undermine their rights

6 Key elements of our FBC work
Individualized care plan for each child -Child development plan Stable trained care giver which helps in building lasting relationships Provides opportunity for growth and development of each child according to his/her potential Siblings entrusted in our care stay in the same family homes Provides care beyond eighteen years

7 Continuum of care – beyond 18 yrs.
After Care Program The After care program beyond 18 yrs. is an integral part of our long term care program for children entrusted in our care. We have a three tier care and support program for our youth: The 1st stage (Arunodaya) – yrs. The 2nd Stage (Sopan) – yrs. The 3rd Stage (Ghronda) yrs.-three year support program . The Youth care program key features: Youth Development programes MIMN Test Child protection and cyber safety modules Soft skill development programmes PYD ( Positive Youth Development) Activities Listening to youth exercise Social skill Assessment Settled youth Quality settlement Assessment – on–going

8 The Youth after care program ensures :
Vocational skills for all through government recognized courses English speaking skills IT Skills 100% employment for our youth

In about 220 children took up the following courses : 31-Managemen t teaching 28-Commerce Agriculture 28-nursing Law 25-Hotel management Engeeneering 23- Social work paramedics 8-physical education computer 7-Humanities design 6-Mass media Fine arts

10 Impact Pioneered the SOS care model in the country by providing a nurturing environment to children without families . Through this programme more than 4,500 youth have been settled till date . They are now independent and self reliant in professions such as medicine, journalism, aviation, army , teaching etc. ( We have documented Success stories of our settled children) Currently more than 6,600 children growing up in 440 SOS families in 32 children’s Villages and 32 youth homes( after care programs) across the country
