RULES: Use such with nouns. Use so with adjectives or adverbs. Use so many with plural nouns. (count nouns) Use so much with non-count nouns. EXAMPLE: It was such a terrible situation that the caller couldn’t remain calm. His legs are so weak that he can’t walk. He has so many symptoms that it’s difficult to say what the problem is.
