Bell Ringer – March 2nd Pick up your spiral, a 3 column handout and a piece of tape from the supply table. If you were absent Tuesday, also grab the “Waiting” handout. You will need your DIRT book out on your desk—the teacher will check off that you have it for CCR. Combine the following sentences into one sentence (you can add/take away words and punctuation): The concert venue was packed with loud, sweaty people. I was excited because Justin Bieber, my idol, stepped out onto the stage.

DIRT – March 2nd When you finish reading today, reflect on the goal you set for yourself and your reading at the beginning of the semester. How are you doing with reaching that goal? Are there additional steps you should take in order to reach your goal? What’s been working for you so far? Stand and share with someone who has a first name with a different amount of letters in it than yours.
