Investigate the crucial interface between mobility planning, land use planning and urban design To whom belongs public space – to machines or to people? How and with what can the best SUMP cities (champion cities) still innovate? SUMP for cities with historical city centres and/or cultural heritage (e.g. Dubrovnik) SUMP for cities with the challenge of overwhelming tourism (e.g. Venice, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Paris, Dubrovnik) Urbanisation of the rural area. What role play SUMPs?
