How to grant access to your mailing agent

2 Setting up third party suppliers
1. Ensure that the 3rd party (e.g. Mailing Agent) has access to Online Business Account and obtain the Posting Location number from them. (They can find this by selecting the Administration tab). 2. Select the Accounts you wish the Agent to have access to. 3. Input the Posting Location of the Agent into OBA. 4. Set up how long you want the Mailing Agent to be able to do postings for you on those Accounts. 5. Decide if you wish the Agent to see your pricing. 6. Once the steps above have been completed, a message will appear ‘relationship has transferred’. This means that your Mailing Agent now has access to post on your behalf.

3 Select the Administration Tab.
Select the ‘Agents option’

4 Select the account you would like
your mailing agents to access

5 Select the ‘new’ option to
add the posting location of your Agent.

6 Enter the posting location number
of your Mailing Agent. Your Mailing Agent must already have access to Online Business Account in order that they may give you this

7 Having entered the posting location
Number select the option to ‘Update’

8 It is essential to check that the
postcode details shown on the screen match the actual mailing site of your mailing agent.

9 Enter a date into the ‘Valid from Date’
which should be the start date from when you would like your Mailing Agent to access your accounts. enter a date into the ‘Valid to Date’ which should be the end date from Agent to access your account

10 Online Business Account
automatically shields prices from other companies mailing on your behalf. However, you do have the option to allow prices to be seen, by ticking the ‘Show Prices’ check box.
