2 Plan of the presentation
1. Air pads systems – moving and lifting 2. Air pads, only lifting, y axis Hilman Rollers moving along x axis plastic sliders z axis and two guidelines with two horizontal hydraulic cylinders. 3. Hydraulic jack for lifting (Enerpack system) , y axis Hilman Rollers mowing along x axis plastic sliders (z axis)

3 To make the main assumptions
Assumptions for construction of the platform: Platform, rails and another devices situated on the floor Target Spectrometer and his doors will be support by the platform Platform allows to move Target Spectrometer in x – axis direction and positioning in z axis and y – axis.

4 The construction of the platform includes standard long four I-beams HEB800
This construction of the platform give us three possibilities to movement: on DELU air pads Independly we can use special polymeric slippers without or with air pads The Hilman Rollers- for this we need steel rails on the floor and lifting system for positioning air supply hose slipper/support air pad hydraulic cylinder

The pressure will be controled in each path hose accessory, consisting of: • 12 piece connecting hoses each 5 m long, (2pcs reserve) with two female quick connection couplings each • 2 piece high flexible supply hose 30m long, diameter 2” with two female quick connection couplings each • 2 piece air connection point 2" with external thread Air Consumption 8 m3/min for one segment , pressure 4 bar, lifting 40 mm

Lifting platform, y axis on air pads or hydraulic jacks, range 5 mm Positionig, z axis on plastic sliders or air pads, range - 40 mm Hilman Rollers – x axis, range limited by lenght of rails

Air pads – MPa Plastic sliders – 0,857 MPa Hilman Rollers – 11,837 MPa Hydraulic Jacks – 40 MPa (Hilman Rollers pressure on floor by the rails)

32 Summary air pads Air pads platform with plastic sliders Advantages:
Give possibility to move in three direction x,y,z No deformation of the structure and low stress Low contact pressure on floor and easy control pressure in each pads We don’t need to prepare channels in floor to mount (precisely machined) rails. The simple guidance for air pad platform can be mounted on floor or without it. We need the air pads only during moving, after that you can use the pads to move another load It is possible to exchange plastic sliders made of plastic into steel ones if the Target Spectrometer not move long time. Low friction during moving Delivery no problem, a few company produce it. Disadvantages: There is necessary to use a big compressor, We need flat floor, Can apear a noise if the floor will not be polish or wavy.

33 Summary Hilman Rollers
Advantages: We need only four block of Hilman Rollers Hilman rollers seems me cheaper than another solution but if you take consideration additional support devices wich be necessary to use probably the price will be similar Disadvantage: Moving only along x-axis We need two heavy rails and guidance For positionig z axis we need another devices For positionig in y axis we need hydraulic or pneumatic system Problem to assure equal pressure under each rollers We need big Rollers so Hilman don’t produce for this guildeline rollers Construction of the rails and guidance is not simple us for air pads Delivery only one Company

34 Summary 1.Each solution to move Target spetometer will be expensive
2. Each solutions is expensive but cheaper than on wheel carriage 3.None of solutions: Hillman and air pads don’t allow to move automaticly Target Spectometer from park to domestic position
