2 TCP/IP Command Line Utilities
ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) Displays and modifies the IP to physical address translation tables. FTP (File Transfer Protocol) Transfers files to and from a node running FTP services. IPConfig (IP Configuration) Displays the IP address and other configuration information. (For the command line) WinIPCfg (Windows IP Configuration) Windows display of IP address and other configuration information. (For Win 95 & 98) WNTIPCfg (Windows NT IP Configuration) Windows display of IP address and other configuration information. (For Win 2000 & XP) NetStat (Network Status) Displays protocol statistics and current TCP/IP connections PING (Packet InterNet Groper) Verifies connections to a remote host or hosts. ROUTE Manipulate the routing table on a server that is acting as a router connected to two separate segments. TelNet Starts terminal emulation with a remote system running a Telnet Service. TraceRt (Trace Route) Determines the route taken to a destination

VisualRoute (from VisualWare) An easy to use, graphical tool that determines precisely where and how traffic is flowing on the route between the desired destination and the user trying to access it, providing a geographical map of the route, and the performance on each portion of that route.
