Your lives shall pay the forfeit of the peace.’ Prince Escalus Act 1 Scene 1 The Prince will take revenge on anyone who breaks the peace.

5 As I hate hell, all Montagues, and thee.
Tybalt Act 1 Scene 1 Tybalt wants revenge on the Montagues and Mercutio (just because they’re enemies)

6 This, by his voice, should be a Montague. Fetch me my rapier, boy.
Tybalt Act 1 Scene 5 Tybalt wants revenge on Romeo for coming to the Capulet’s party.

7 Boy, this shall not excuse the injuries
That thou hast done me, therefore turn and draw. Tybalt Act 3 Scene 1 Tybalt wants revenge on Romeo for coming to the Capulet party and for refusing to fight him.

8 Away to heaven respective lenity, And fire and fury be my conduct now.
Romeo Act 3 Scene 1 Romeo wants revenge on Tybalt for killing Mercutio.

9 I beg for justice, which thou, Prince, must give.
Romeo slew Tybalt, Romeo must not live. Lady Capulet Act 3 Scene 1 Lady Capulet wants revenge on Romeo for killing her nephew (Tybalt)

10 We will have vengeance for it, fear thou not.
Lady Capulet Act 3 Scene 5 Lady Capulet swears to Juliet they will have revenge on Romeo for killing Tybalt.

11 See what a scourge is laid upon your hate
Capulet! Montague! See what a scourge is laid upon your hate Prince Escalus Act 5 Scene 3 Look at what wanting revenge has caused.
