1 True Disciples              Luke 14:26-27,33; Matthew 28:19-20; 7:23-27 If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple.   Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.  So then, none of you can be My disciple who does not give up all his own possessions.

Jesus wants us to “be with him” now, as well as through eternity.  He wants us to hear his words.  He wants us to say, “Lord, Lord,” and do the things he says.  He wants us to get ready now for the rest of our existence.
