2017 NDE PRIORITIES Provide meaningful data points to help programs monitor effectiveness Provide Guidance in Implementation of Infinite Campus for AHSD and Corrections Education Programs Full implementation of EOC Exams Facilitate the sharing of best practices Develop a process to introduce high demand Industrial Certificates

Over 29,000 participants served 1,547 participants earned an Adult High School Diploma 1,768 participants earned a High School Equivalency Diploma 1,198 participants completed a vocational certificate

33% increase over 5 years with 29% increase just last year AHSD Programs have increased 23% while Corrections Programs have increased 110% It is important that we give this information to our legislatures through strong advocacy efforts. ie; letters, s, invitations to graduations

Five Year Outcome Trends Until last year we had experiences a three year decline in HSE/AHSD outcomes but even with our increase in our outcomes just level with and still below our high of 3,734 in while enrollment is continuing to increase.

8 Out Come Percentage If we look at the data by district we will see a wide range of outcome results. Please during the next two days find time to talk to your counterparts and see what is working in Carson City, Douglas Co, Mineral Co or Humboldt Co. All who are well above the state average on both the HSE and AHSD. We have good things happening in the corrections facilities as well, Clark has 74% of the students enrolled in the HSE program are earning their high school equivalency
