3. Regimental Therapy
The Traditional Chinese and Unani medicine gives much importance to the simple physical means to cure or prevent a disease. But for certain specific and complicated diseases he applies special techniques, some of which are as follows:
Acupuncture: The Traditional Chinese are of healing- Acupuncture, Acupressure and Acumassage is recoganised and known as blood letting, Dalak and Malish and is widely used in practice Shaik Abu Ali Iba-e-Sina ( A.D.) the Chief luminary of Unani Tib, in his book “ AL-QANUN FIT TIB” (canoon of medicine), the medical Bible which has been more referred to than any other book recoganises Acupuncture as “ Blood letaing Technique, Venesection, Counter irritant, and Cauterization.
In the 20 reels long Russian documentary film “Youth of Genius”, the life history of Avecinna” produced in 1980 to mark the 1000th year birth anniversary of Shaik Abu Ali Ibn-e-Sina shows the healer Avecinna as an expert in Acupuncture and Unani Medicine prescribing the integrated to this patients.

4. Unani Acupuncture
It is a well known fact that no single system of medicine is so perfect as to cure every disease of the suffering humanity. So we must respect all the medicine each based on it own principles for the motive of each is the same, i.e. to give relief, prevent or cure a disease.
Unani-Acupuncture is not a new technique nor a new system. It is the external application of Acupuncture along with the oral prescriptions of unani medicine to present cr cure a disease. In China prescription of herbal medicine along with Acupuncture is common. The World Health Organisation has recognised Unani and Acupuncture the two ancient sciences of healing as an alternative to modern medicine and has made active publicity of the curative effects of the same.
