In September, 2000, Psion PLC acquired Teklogix, Inc., a global company widely recognized for its leadership in developing and implementing real-time mobile data solutions for industrial and commercial applications.
By integrating the highly complementary wireless capabilities, markets and product lines of Teklogix and the former Psion Enterprise division, a new organization was created -- Psion Teklogix -- now the company's largest operating division.
With the successful integration of the two organizations now complete, Psion Teklogix is well positioned to compete in a business world moving increasingly towards wireless, mobile connectivity.
The new organization delivers many advantages to the company and our customers, including:
more extensive capabilities in wireless systems integration;
ready access to North American markets;
highly advanced engineering skills and research and development resources;
and broader systems and product lines, all of which position us to better capture emerging mobile data collection and communication markets.
