13 General Definition of Ethics in Medicine
Medical Ethics or Ethics in Medicine can be defined as a Philosophical study of moral values of human conduct or behavior governing rules and principles in the practice of medicine. Codes of behavior considered correct for professional practitioners of medicine. Moral fitness of a decision or course of action in the practice of medicine.

14 Scope of Ethics in Medicine
Bioethics: Ethics in biological science including the practice of medicine. Biomedical ethics: Same as bioethics with emphasis on biology applicable to medicine. Health care ethics: Ethics in the provision of health care by all health professions. Clinical ethics: Focus on patients.

15 Morality and Human Rights(principles of medical ethics)
Beneficence: Do only good. Non-maleficence: Do no harm. Autonomy: Respect for informed consent, privacy and confidentiality. Justice: Equitable distribution of benefits and burdens as allowed by law. Fidelity: Faithfulness to one’s commitment Veracity: Telling the truth without deception
