Acid phosphatase levels determined in 55 of 75 aspirates were below 200 µunol/mg of protein per minute, while 44 patients had lower values for alkaline phosphatase (<300 µunol/mg of protein per minute) and for cathespin (<300 ΔA/mg of protein per minute).
