3 PeopleSoft Home Page Your PeopleSoft screen will look like this when you first log into PeopleSoft. Notice the small tool bar in the right corner. Home Global Search Notification Action List Navigation Bar

4 Main Menu & Desktop Setup

5 Main Menu Clicking on Navigator will allow you to see menu options.
This option will help you establish different homepage menu options to work from. Click Nav Bar

6 To Setup Desktop Titles
To setup a homepage menu for someone who enters requisitions you click on eProcurement. Please note any type of homepage menu can be setup. It is based on what you want see on your homepage.

Next you click on requisition. This will take to the create requisition page that you are familiar with.

Click on the action list 3 bar lines at the top Click on add to homepage. To save this page click on the: The action list bar at the top right corner Select Add to Homepage Click on MY Homepage Click OK on the Add TO

Once you complete the add to your homepage your REQUSITION tile should be on your MY Homepage.

19 Preferences This section is to change you general settings: for example tab settings or the auto complete feature.

20 Preferences Clicking on the sideways triangle beside Navigation Personalizations you will be able to change tab settings and other options. Once you change an option click save. If you don’t like the changes click restore defaults.

22 Objective Display the New Navigation to Create a Requisition and Manage Requisition Bullet point – Earlier Tina has shown you the basic navigation and how to set up your tiles on your homepage. I will show you the navigation to create and manage your requisitions.

23 Navigation to Create a Requisition
Click on the Navigation/Compass Symbol Click on Navigator Normally, you are use to see the main menu on the left hand side of the screen. In the new environment you will have to go the top right corner and click the “Compass Symbol” and then the “Navigator”.

Click on eProcurement Click on Requisition Once the menu expands you will go to eProcurement then Requisition. The “Requisition” menu option is equivalent to “Create Requisition”.

Default Fields: Business Unit Requester Currency Buyer Ship To Location Budget Reference Year Budget Date “Requisition Settings” page is equivalent to the “Define Requisition” page. The default fields are the same.

The functionality has not changed but the look has changed. Before the system had tabs now it has icons.

Special Request Requisition When you are creating a Special item requisition you will notice a small difference. Currently, when creating a “Special Item Requisition” it has a summary on the left of the screen. Now, it will go into a shopping cart beside the checkout button. When you click on the hyperlink beside the cart symbol, you will see the cart summary pop out on the upper right corner of your window.

Category Codes Category Codes! By a show of hands how many of you have called into purchasing to confirm that you are using the correct category code because the description with in PS does not show the full description? We’ve heard your concerns and with the upgrade you are now able to see a longer description of the code(s) you are selecting. If you select the magnifying glass need to the Category filed and click on the description link it will populate a pop up window with a longer description of the category code you are looking up. To select the category code you will click on the number itself and it will add it to the “Category Field”.

Requisition Summary The “Shipping Summary” The information that is shown is defaulted from the information that was provided when setting up your access to PS. To see the accounting line you will have to select the arrow to the left of the line item and beside the Accounting Lines.

Requisition Summary As before you are able to edit on this section. You’ve probably notice the “Modify Shipping and Accounting” button is missing. That option is still available it is now called “Mass Change”.

Mass Change “Mass Change” has replaced “Modify Shipping and Accounting”. You will select the lines that you are needing to modify and select “Mass Change”.

Requisition Summary Check your Budget and then Save and Submit.

Confirmation requisition has been submitted. Confirmation screen is confirming it has been sent to workflow.

Click on the Navigation/Compass Symbol Click on Navigator To get to “Manage Requisition” you will click the compass then Navigator.

Click on eProcurement Click on Manage Requisition Select ePro and Manage Req.

The “Manage Requisition” section looks and has the same feel.

When it is time for you to go into PS to receive in an order you have received you will select the action drop down, select receive and click on “Go”.

Check the items that you have physically received and select “Receive Selected”.

Please ensure that you are only receiving items in the system that you have physically received. Select “Save receipt”. *Bullet Point* For example: If you only received 2 of the 3, change the qty amount to 2 and then save.

42 Navigation to Manage Requisition
Receiving for Assets Starting October 2, 2017, Receiving of Assets will now be handled by Sharon Bradish. Sharon Bradish Starting October 2, 2017, Receiving of Assets will now be handled by Sharon Bradish. Sharon Bradish is our Logistics and Property Control Manager. When you are sending in a request to receive an asset you will be required to provide the Serial Number. The system requires the information at the time of receipt.

44 Manage Requisition Click on the Navigation/Compass Symbol
Click on Navigator

45 Manage Requisition Click on eProcurement Click on Manage Requisition

46 View Print Requisition
Manage Requisition View Print Requisition To print your Req you will need to select the action drop down, select view print and click “Go”.

47 View Print Requisition
Manage Requisition View Print Requisition It will populate on another tab or window depending on the internet browser you are using.
