After selling makeup products on her own she finally started her own makeup company in 1946; Estée Lauder Cosmetics Inc. She eventually made herself the richest self-made woman in the world.

In 1968 Estee launched the cosmetic brand; Clinique.

Born in Queens, New York.
Married her husband Joseph H. Lauter.

Divorced her husband in 1939, but later remarried four years later.
Gave birth to her second son, Ronald in 1944.

6. My opinions about Estee Lauder
I think Estee Lauder is a great role model for not only women but men too; especially since she made her own company.
I think Estee Lauder shows that knowledge and perseverance can get you anywhere in life, if you work hard enough.
