Title
National Systems uses Mobilize.Net to move critical call center application to the cloud
Summary
NSC had tried and failed three times to rewrite their call center application from VB6 to a web/cloud format. They called Mobilize.Net who used WebMAP to convert 78k lines of VB6 code to HTML5, retaining the look and feel of the application to avoid any employee confusion. The end result is a more efficient, easily deployed call center application that required no re-training of existing agents and which is re-tooled to handle future requirements.
Situation
NSC is one of the market leaders in delivering telephony technology to call centers and corporations. Between on-line and call center orders, NSC is taking 25% to 100% of Pizza Hut’s orders in some regions. A prime business differentiator for NSC is its % uptime and reliability commitment. Call center agents work from multiple distributed locations, including home, making installation and support of a VB6-based desktop application cumbersome and expensive. NSC wanted a SaaS solution to enable quick deployment and fast updates.

Summary
Line of business application written in VB6 which was at end of life from Microsoft. Hutchins was faced with expensive rewrite to remain in business. Mobilize.Net converted the VB6 code to HTML5, retaining the look and feel of the application to avoid any customer disruption, and did all of the work at a fraction of the cost of a manual rewrite.
Situation
Hutchins Systems business was based on a custom line-of-business VB6 application. VB6 was no longer supported by Microsoft and Hutchins was concerned that their business would suffer if they couldn’t update the application to keep up with market demands. Hutchins needed a low-risk, cost effective way to move the app to the web.
