Liz Buno is a Physician Assistant and co-owner at Roxboro Family Medicine in Roxboro, NC. She completed the Physician Assistant Program at Duke University in 2004 and has been in Family Medicine in Roxboro since Liz enjoys all aspects of Family Medicine, but her focuses are Chronic Disease Management and Education, Women’s Health, integrating her practice’s EMR, and leading the RFM Quality Improvement Team. She is an Assistant Consulting Professor for the Duke Physician Assistant Program and enjoys mentoring Duke PA and Medical students having been honored with Preceptor of the Year Awards from the Duke Family Medicine program, Duke Physician Assistant Program, and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Outside of clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs, traveling, trying new restaurants, and Zumba.

Providers given two weeks to complete the following: Complete the HHN modules for Statins and Aspirin for Primary Prevention Load the ASCVD risk calculator into Centricity “favorites” Familiarize themselves with the Quicktexts for ASCVD risk (or create their own) Tracking Data – what we know. Zero trackable instances of ASCVD risk calculation in 2015. For 2016, 8.6% of applicable patients now with calculated risk score (providers asked to start using calculator within EMR 11/14/2016), 12% as of 01/2017. 55% of patients with statin on med list in 2015. 54% 2016
