Requirements for graduation
Successfully complete required high school coursework Take the End-of-Course Tests (EOCT) for all EOCT subjects: Economics U.S. History Physical Science Biology 9th Grade Lit. American Lit. Algebra 1 Geometry

Senior Attendance Daily school attendance is important.
Members of the Student Support Team will work closely with you to maintain an accurate accounting of your student’s attendance. Senior Contract Consultations
Guidance Counselors will be available to schedule individual conferences with each senior parent regarding student status and progress towards graduation. Please contact your student’s counselor to discuss: Requirements for Graduation Graduation Projection Summary Course Credit Status Required Community Service Hours State-Mandated Exams

Community Service All students are REQUIRED to complete 75 hours of community service before completion of high school. Community service should be completed and submitted by end of semester one. All records of community service should be logged into in order to qualify for service-learning cord provide at commencement. Students should speak directly with their counselor to learn more about community service requirements.

Senior Class Dues Senior Class dues are $275.00
Deadline for payment of Senior Class dues is February 2, 2018 Seniors who pay in full before December 18th will receive a $25 discount. A one time $25 late fee will be charged for all fees not paid in full after by February 2, 2018. Senior students are also responsible for any fees associated with lost textbooks and/or uniforms, Media Center fines, and JROTC equipment. All student fees are non-refundable.

Senior Class Dues Senior dues cover expenses associated with the following: Cap and Gown Diploma Cover School Yearbook Senior Awards Decorations Visions of the Future and Commencement Honorarium for Guest Speakers Programs for Visions of the Future Fees Associated with the Graduation Ceremony Printing Costs and Logistics for Commencement Graduation Transportation Senior Sponsored Activities Senior Picnic Senior Breakfast

Senior Class Dues Senior Class dues and/or fees may be paid in cash or money orders in the Media Center to Dr. Jennifer Still during lunch. OR Online through the Maynard Jackson High School webpage Click “Quick Links” and look for “Pay School Fees Online” to make secure online payments. Keep a copy of receipts for your records and verification

Visions & Commencement
The Visions of the Future ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 20, at 11 a.m. at Maynard Jackson High. Commencement will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. at the Georgia World Congress Center. Tickets Tickets are allocated based on final class size. Distributed along with cap and gown. Date contingent upon graduation rehearsal schedule and attendance. Diploma Distribution Diplomas will be distributed on the evening of commencement to all students who are financially cleared.
