If you could introduce someone who has grown up in a big city like L.A. or Chicago to your favorite
place on earth, WHERE would that be and WHY?
3
If you could take someone to your favorite restaurant, WHAT would it be and WHY?

Ephesians 6:19-20 “Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.”
10
Ephesians 6:12-13 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

Feelings of INADEQUACY
I don’t know enough I’ve not changed enough myself I’m not Christ-like enough myself I’m not a strong enough Christian My own sins
12
Feelings of INADEQUACY
I’m not good at it. I’m not qualified to tell them. I get tongue tied talking to people. I don’t have the gift of evangelism. Awkward moments
13
SELF-DOUBT I won’t know what to say/ I’ll say the wrong things. I feel self-conscious I don’t have time to build the relationships needed to share Jesus or care for new believers.
14
FEAR… of rejection. (5 x) of people. of what they will think of me. that I won’t be liked or accepted. of losing a friend if we conflict.
15
FEAR… of reprisals from that person or my company. of pushing someone away from truth by being too forward with it. It’s just intimidating!

#1 & #2-- Inadequacy & Self-doubt:
2 Corinthians 3:5, 6 (NIV) Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. 6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
17
2 Corinthians 5:17-20 (NIV) 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them.
18
2 Corinthians 5:17-20 (NIV) And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
19
FEAR I Corinthians 2:3– I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling.
20
FEAR 2 Timothy 1:7—“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (NKJV) I Peter 3:14-- But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.”
21
FEAR Philippians 1:14– And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear.
22
FEAR Acts 9:32-- Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace and was strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it increased in numbers.

John 3:16 Romans 5:8-- But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
28
Ephesians 2:4, 5-- But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
29
Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
