Don’t trust in “Big Shots” -They can’t even help themselves- v.4-5 Psalm 118:8-9
Without God- they and their plans are dust!-v Psalm 104:29 Is. 40:6

5. Blessed- Ashei- Blissfully Happy!
Those who trust and hope in God
The Maker of Heaven and Earth Acts 17: Looking for an “unknown god”
Problem- Our god is too small - Ephesians 3: More than we ask or imagine!

6. Forever! Faithful-v.6- II Timothy 2:13 Numbers 23:19
The source and measurement of truth-The keeper/guardian of ”emuna” – v.6 John 14:6 John 8:32- The Truth will set you free!
Jesus is Truth!- John 1:14 Undiluted full truth!

7. Discovering God’s Character Through Weakness
God seeks justice for the oppressed-v Amos 5:24 Jeremiah 22:3- Exodus 3:7- I’ve heard their cry- I’m concerned
God feeds the hungry and starving- v.7 Exodus 16:4 Matthew 14:6 - Not just physical bread- John 6: Bread from heaven!
Sets the captives free-v.7- Lk. 4: Jubilee! John 8:36- Free indeed!
A place in the Father’s heart for wanderers, fatherless and widows-v.9- Hebrews 11:9-10 Deut. 10:19 Ephesians 2:12 James 1:27

8. What Has God Done for You Today? Will you praise Him?
God opens the eyes of the blind- v John 9:25 “ I was blind, but now I see!”
He lifts up the bowed down-v Psalm 40:2 From the pit of destruction- Every new morning! – Lamentation 3:22-23
God personally loves His tsaddikim- His saints-v. 8- Romans 8: Nothing can separate us from His love. I Peter 2:9
