7 ROAIMS Overview ROAIMS encapsulates the tools, the consistent logic and associated services for: Data Management and integration / alignment of Inspection Results Design & Construction Data Integration Document Control Immediate and Future Repair Planning Risk Assessment & Prioritization Field verification coordination Rehabilitation action tracking Fully auditable record-keeping and assessment capabilities. ROSEN Asset Integrity Management Software & associated Services

8 Asset Management Asset Manager is the gateway to all functions of the ROSEN Asset Integrity Management Software (ROAIMS). It allows to centrally conduct all the necessary steps to achieve a successful integrity management process. All gathered assets on a single view Hierarchical register Enter relevant operational parameters to each asset Integrated management of pipelines, tanks and other assets. ROSEN Asset Integrity Management Software & associated Services

9 Data Integration Straight forward GUI to perform data integration
Data is loaded in Standardized Database, e.g. PODS, APDM Time component included (e.g. for consecutive inspections) Connection to existing DB (e.g. from GIS) Integration of most geographical formats Connection to Web Map Services ROSEN Asset Integrity Management Software & associated Services

10 Document Control The central storage facility for all integrity-related documents within the ROAIMS environment. The application allegorizes the bridge between the structured storage of documents and the database keeping all integrity related details. Link documents to each specific asset Included comprehensive search/filter functionalities Connect to DMS ROSEN Asset Integrity Management Software & associated Services

11 Inspection & Testing Data Alignment Manager & ETL are used to integrate all necessary distance based or geo-referenced data to a common centerline route. The standardization of all data from the multiple sources enables for integration and cross-analysis of large data volumes. Spatial & linear centerline alignment Weld-to-Weld alignment Supporting proprietary and industry-standard data models ROSEN Asset Integrity Management Software & associated Services

12 Combined Visualization & Analysis
In ROAIMS all integrated and calculated data can be overlaid with each other: Comparison of consecutive ILI runs Overlay internal and external inspection results HCA’s or other geospatial conditions. Risk Assessment and Spillage outcome in geographical context. Geographic queries (e.g. filtering, buffering) & & & ROSEN Asset Integrity Management Software & associated Services

13 Risk model (QPRAM) outline
PoF Assessment: Adjustment of threat model based on regional peculiarities (e.g. Permafrost, Geotechnical factors) Diagnostic Records: Utilization of ILI and Aboveground Surveys to adjust specific threat results Failure scenario analysis: Failure Modes (leak/rupture) and release scenarios (spillage, thermal radiation, etc). Consequence Assessment: Leak and Rupture Scenarios considering Land Types, Population Density etc. Risk Assessment Combining PoF and CoF results and comparing with acceptability thresholds. Prioritization of preventative and mitigative actions.

14 Risk Assessment The Risk Model is structured to answer three basic questions: Which threats are active? Will the active threat result in a leak or a rupture? What is the company liability in the event of a failure? To prioritize the system for maintenance and inspection activities an assessment has to be carried out both for active threats and for the consequences of a failure. Dynamic Segmentation Threat assessment based on rules derived from applicable codes and industry best practice, e.g. ASME B31.8s • Suggestion of verification and mitigation procedures for all identified threats ROSEN Asset Integrity Management Software & associated Services

15 FFP Assessment The new Feature Assessment version combines ROSOFT capabilities with latest technological advantages of the ROAIMS framework. Fully centralized Database environment for all ILI and related information (e.g. from field) Statistics and Pivot Charts Full integration with Repair Coordinator On-the-fly tracking of repair state Defect editing and updating Comparison of assessment methods ROSEN Asset Integrity Management Software & associated Services

16 Corrosion Growth Using the results of in-line inspections and corrosion growth estimations, the application aims to simulate the future conditions of a pipeline section. Directly apply growth rates to ILI runs and estimate future conditions for any point in time Growth rates typically come from Level 2 Assessment (Signal comparison, coupons, ...) and are applied per segment Box-data based automated calculations can be applied Results: Defining appropriate re-inspection intervals Facilitating preparation of annual repair budgets ROSEN Asset Integrity Management Software & associated Services

17 Diagnosis of Threats External Corrosion / CP Underprotection:
CP potential level analysis (CP / CIS readings) Soil corrosivity analysis (Soil resistivity readings) Coating defect analysis (DCVG readings) Outcomes can be overlaid with ILI and other data. ROSEN Asset Integrity Management Software & associated Services

18 Stress Analysis Module analyzes bending strain based on ILI XYZ mapping data Based on editable variables resulting strain areas are calculated User has to confirm calculated strains avoiding consideration of field bends ROSEN Asset Integrity Management Software & associated Services

19 Rehabilitation Combined planning and execution of identified tasks:
Defect Repair tasks Improvement of underprotected CP segments Risk-based mitigation tasks ROSEN Asset Integrity Management Software & associated Services

20 Rehabilitation Field repair activities can fully be tracked and managed. Main characteristics: Creation of dig campaigns and comparison of results against reported defect characteristics Combination of features to groups as basis for repair (e.g. based on close proximity of defects) Attachment of documents/ pictures to verifications Anomaly Reports ROSEN Asset Integrity Management Software & associated Services

RBI based on industry best practices Complies with API 580 and EEMUA Replaces time-based inspection systems with flexible inspection programs

24 Task Coordinator The application allows to analyze and track all scheduled events either automatically created or custom-made in the Integrity Planning environment. It provides a comprehensive overview of all tank assets including detailed time frames and descriptions on actions to be performed on them. Product features: Risk-based inspection measures for all tank assets Maintenance activities on all tank assets Filter, sort and group functionality

25 ROAIMS for facilities Next major development go towards combined RBI on various types of assets in facilities. Management and assessment of corrosion loops Handling of piping, vessels, valves, equipment, … RBI methodology based on applicable standards (e.g. API 353) Management of all inspection data (pigging, visual, UT spot measurements, …) Interfaces to existing CAD documentation Tank modules will likely be merged inside new Environment.
