5 Redshift-space structure of the SSC
Redshift-space structure of the SSC. The small dots mark galaxies with measured redshifts. The wire frame limits the gravitationally bound region as obtained from fitting a spherical collapse model to the observed galaxy overdensity in the central region (Dunner 2005). The large, blue dots mark the three central clusters. Open squares and triangles mark the centers of other identified clusters of galaxies lying, respectively, inside and outside the bound region.
