In the UK, on average 12% of retail Sportsbook Revenue generated from Virtual Sports. Between 4-6% of Online Revenue generated from Virtual Sports. Italy, initially the first regulated market for Virtual Sports in mainland Europe in Reached over €1.2 billion in total revenues in first year of operation. In Africa, Virtual Sports can make up the majority of a retail operators revenue. Introduced in 2013 to Asia. 3 Virtual Sports….. a digital representation of a real sporting event that people can place a bet on like betting on real sports. Players place fixed odds wagers on these digital sporting events (Horse Racing, Football etc) Player then watches the event unfold. Events typically last minutes.
