Live TV Streamers Subscription service with a lineup modeled after traditional TV Typically comprised of skinny bundles plus packs or more traditional cable tiers Providers include Sling TV, DirecTV Now, Playstation Vue, Hulu with Live TV, fuboTV Premier, and YouTube TV In the Des Moines DMA, Hulu TV and Playstion Vue have the local CBS available, all other feeds are national. Amazon Video has made large gains in their original content. Available for free with Prime Membership. Crackle from Sony is a free ad-supported service that is definitely not in the same league as Netflix and Amazon. Watch could be a big player with Facebook delivering video to so many users. Studio Streamers An “owned and operated” streaming service from a particular channel (studio) that has some content not available on the cable channel.
