Recoverable & Recyclable Rate (No target rate, but submit rate calculations.) Forbidden Substances*1 ( Extract from GB/T ) Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium, PBB*2 and PBDE*2 *1: Exception list is existed. *2: Brominated flame retardants

5/9 Update Information about China ELV GB30512 – Requirements for prohibited substances on Automobiles ‘Recommended standard’ to ‘Mandatory standard’ (on going) in 2018 Forbidden Substances Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium, PBB and PBDE + Asbestos, PAH* and other substances (not fixed yet) *: Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon Implementation Progress - Random check the CN ELV data provided into type approval system - Verify the Dismantling manual of the end-of-life vehicles - Deep research the Hazardous substance management system

9 Prospect 9/9 China and India ELV rules are affecting global automobile supplier chain. JAPIA would like to cooperate with European OEMs and CLEPA to follow up their ELVs and the related Rules.
