In 1917, the Rotary Club of Kansas City, Missouri, USA, made the first contribution, $26.50, to the endowment fund suggested by Arch Klumph
marks the centennial of The Rotary Foundation

3. Purposes of TRF Centennial celebration:
Increase awareness of Rotary and its Foundation among Rotarians and general public
Recognize major achievements related to Rotary Foundation programs
Achieve together with all Rotary Clubs in the world the RI Fundraising Goal for of $300 million for Rotary Foundation
Attract new members
