3 LSF Funding Grant supports an intensive high risk team
Funds renewed and services expanded Identifying client challenges through staffing process and follow up Posting Peer Recovery Specialist and Project Manager positions Incidentals can fund temporary dosing, trauma counseling, and ICC/family planning

4 WARM (Women Assisting Recovering Mothers) Update
Capacity – pregnant women are prioritized. Creates challenges when dosing women down and case can be “bumped”. Women with case plans are delayed in reuniting with infant Circle of Security - evaluation Peer Support – if LSF continues funding

Reunification Day – coverage in News Journal June 10th, 2016 Focus on Trauma Event – parents and team members shared experiences, successes and challenges with the pilot program and parents shared their lived Parent Partner Approach continues to be a valuable resource and identify systemic areas for improvement Other

12 Volusia County Branch Jail
DTC providing services – scheduled meeting with the jail to discuss “blanket” dosing of all pregnant women Women can’t pay for dosing when they get out OB/GYN’s do not want to take into care when they are on management and can’t maintain due to affordability. OB/GYN’s are reluctant to take into care when women are well into their second trimester upon release. Records need to follow women out of jail

13 Post Partum/Neonatal/Infant
Neonatal Outreach Services – expanded to West Volusia Multi-disciplinary Staffing in Hospital(s) – three times weekly DCF and CPC coordination – family engagement, safe baby court team, Infant Mental Health, Early Steps, ELC, family planning, trauma support. Family Planning – coordinate with Health Department

Drowning – Standing Water Hot Car – help caregivers with reminder Safe Sleep – high risk for women who have mental health/substance abuse problems Human Trafficking Domestic/Partner Violence Perinatal Mood Disorders/Post Partum Depression – potential for relapse Shaken Baby – Coping With Crying Adoption – support women who want to adopt

Providers – focus on patient education and engagement Community – broad messaging that educates all potential caregivers Participants – materials, education, and support to directly impact participants. Policy Makers – messaging to help local, state and National policy makers understand and support the issue
