21-22 “You’re familiar with the command to the ancients, ‘Do not murder.’ I’m telling you that anyone who is so much as angry with a brother or sister is guilty of murder. Carelessly call a brother ‘idiot!’ and you just might find yourself hauled into court. Thoughtlessly yell ‘stupid!’ at a sister and you are on the brink of hellfire. The simple moral fact is that words kill.

Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. 14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

Luke 15:23 (NIV) Jesus said in his parable of the prodigal son coming home.
23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate.

Realise we are not to live in the contractual age of killing, life for a life, eye for an eye. We live in the age of Spirit and grace of the more excellent way of love. It will bring healing.
Realise it’s time to kill the sin that crouches at our door and seeks to devour us, it will bring healing.
Realise you can Live guilt free in the celebration of “killing the fatted calf”, it will bring healing.
