2. Reminders Grades must be maintained. 2.0 GPA required for graduation
Please remember to fill out Senior Survey see DHS website
Seniors who purchased a yearbook may pick one up after Graduation rehearsal

3. Reminders Behavior and attendance are still being monitored
End of year transcript request must be ordered before your last day of the year. There is $1.00 fee for each transcript.

5. Correct way to wear your graduation cap:
DRESS CODE
Caps and Gowns MUST be worn
Tassel on right not moved to left until announced as graduates

6. GUYS Dark dress pants (no jeans) Dress shirt and tie
Dress shoes (no sneakers, flip flops, etc.)

7. GIRLS Dress Skirt and blouse/shirt Dress pants and blouse/shirt
Dress shoes (flat shoes are recommended and easier for walking)
No sneakers, flip flops, sandals, etc.

8. Ruth Eckerd Hall Arrive no later than 8:00 a.m. with cap and gown
Students will gather in the Margarete Heye Great Room.
No parents, guest or other family members are to be in this area.
Student will line up in alphabetically order prior to leaving this area.

11. Receiving Diplomas Entire row stands at same time
Hand name card to reader with name spelled phonetically
When name read, walk towards Mr. Johnson.
Take diploma in left hand and shake with your right hand
Return to row and remain standing until everyone in row has received diploma

12. Ceremony Dignified ceremony
Keep your cell phones away ( no Face Timing, calls, etc.)
No improper noises or distractions on stage
No inappropriate gestures from stage
No decorations on caps
Misbehavior during ceremony will result in NOT receiving your diploma after graduation.
If you do not receive your diploma after graduation you will not be able to pick it up until the next school day.

13. AFTER the CEREMONY
When leaving the stage at conclusion, single file to the “Great Room” for diploma pickup
Please be patient and leave one row at a time.
YOU (no one else may do this) must return to the Great Room to SIGN and pick up your diploma

14. Do to safety reasons you are NOT allowed to throw your mortar boards at the end of the ceremony.
All Pinellas County School Board policies and procedures are in effect until after completion of the ceremony.

15. If you were absent you need to sign the
“ Code of Conduct for Graduation”
To get the form you need to present the following code to Ms. McCoige. She will give you the yellow form to turn into Ms. Leventis.
