Agricultural Shows Website Social media Herd owners develop and sell Guernsey products GGBP Actively look to export animals Promote the breed for use in cross breeding Agri shows, major & minor some int’l All Breeds & calf shows Web presence essential, advertise available bulls etc Social media, facebook twitter Herd owners very proactive & innotive – Young Bull scheme still going strong DG actively seeking out export opportunities Tpromotion of breed in nat press

4 Winning at Championship level raises the breed profile
Agricultural shows are still popular in the UK and provide an excellent opportunity to show the modern guernsey cow to the public & other breeders.

5 Sponsorship Engaging the next generation in showing has been challenging but rewarding with national sponsorship from a leading feed company proving popular. We are constantly looking for new sponsors to help promote the breed. We have used sponsorship from a national feed company to promote the calf classes at shows across the UK in an effort to encourage the future generation
