8 More Timesheet Options
Manually enter the time or use Timer Control / Stop Watch. Enter Total time directly or Enter start time and end time in timesheet. Duration is automatically calculated. Enter timesheet in Time Format (HH:mm) or in Decimal format (HH.mm). All theses features are optional, they can be turned on or off by the admin. Audit trail of timesheet.

Four different types of billing rate selection options at project level. OfficeTimer also allows history based billing rate - apply different billing rates for different date ranges. Employee own billing rate (Pick billing rate defined in employee profile). Useful when your employees or contractors are working in same billing rate even for multiple project. Project based employee billing rate (Pick billing rate defined for each separate employee / contractor at project level) Useful when contractors or employees are working with different rates on different projects.

38 Different Billing Rates For Different Work Types
OfficeTimer allows setting up separate billing rate for separate Work Types. Example of separate [work type] based billing rate is that a single consultant can be charged to client for different types of [work types]. If he is working 8 hours per day, then billing rate should be standard billing rate of that consultant. If hours are more than 8 per day, then overtime rate should be charged to client for those additional hours. Client A Project A Consultant 1 (Standard: US$ 60 per hour) (Overtime: US$ 90 per hour) (On Travel: US$ 120 per hour) Administrator can enable “Work Type” field using application preferences. OfficeTimer then picks billing rate based on work type defined in time entry.

51 Question 1: If an employee is assigned to multiple projects and the team lead/project managers/approvers for both these projects are different, how will the time submitted by the employee be visible to the approvers. Answer: Each PM/Approver will get approval request for the hours entered only for the his/her project. Question 2: Can time off be submitted even if the user is not assigned to any project? Answer: Yes, it can be submitted. Question 3: Can more than one type of leave be applied for a particular date. Is there any restriction to this. Answer: More than one type of leave can be applied for a date. There are no restrictions. Question4: Once the time entry/time-off request is submitted and approved how can we reject it at a later point in time? Answer: This record can be edited by an Admin who has access to Time Entry Archive page.

52 Question 5: Will the admin be able to view the available and consumed leaves for the entire organization, and similarly the project manager/team lead be able to view available and consumed leaves for the employees under him/her. Answer: Yes this is possible. Admin has access to leave reports of the entire organization and the EM/PM have access to their team reports. Question 6: Can the leaves period be set to starting of the financial year so the period would be from starting of April of one year till end of March the following year? Answer: Yes, it is possible to configure leave accruals to FY April 1st to March 31st. Question 7: We get 1.5 AL’s and 0.5 SL’s credited to our leave/time-off kitty at the end of every month. Can these number of leaves be added to the kitty of every employee on monthly basis. If an employee joins in the middle of the month can the leaves be added on pro rata basis?  Answer: Yes, it is possible to configure the system to accrue AL and SL at the end of every month. For the employees who join in the middle of the month the leave balance can be manually adjusted.
