WELCOME
Welcome to Audio/Video Production II and Practicum, an immersion into the art of making lm and audio/video programs. This class will focus on developing and producing various programs which will focus on school oriented topics that are relevant and informational. The course uses up-to-date equipment and programs used in the industry today. Students will use Adobe Creative Cloud concentrating on Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Prelude, Photoshop, After Effects, SpeedGrade and Audition to craft their projects from concept to completion. Students will also be using equipment such as 4k DSLR cameras, Audio mixing boards, HD studio equipment and other industry standard equipment.

CLASS OBJECTIVES
At the completion of this class the student will be able…
• To produce and direct quality video productions with a realistic understanding of resources, capabilities and goals.
• To gain experience in the planning and execution of professional audio & video production.
• To function in a crew position contributing as a team member to the completion of projects.
• To apply the pre-production, production and post-production processes in programs.
• To engage in critical self-evaluation as it applies to one’s work on one’s own project as well as one’s work on other projects.
